Core tools| Advanced Product Quality Planning

Purpose


This course aims to train members of product-process design teams in the application of quality-oriented project management. APQP is a structured process with a standardized set of activities/requirements that enables suppliers to design a product that satisfies customers in terms of quality, delivery times, and costs.

Target group


The course is aimed at personnel from the following departments: sales, quality, maintenance, product/process engineering, production, continuous improvement, parts/materials purchasing involved in customer demand analysis, bidding, product-process design, product-process validation, implementation of changes in series production.

Objectives


At the end of this course, we expect participants to be able to:

  • Know the phases and activities of APQP
  • Understand deliverables and their dependencies
  • Create an APQP-based plan, which aims to establish relationships between all persons and activities involved in a program and ensure that all required steps are completed on time, at an acceptable cost, and at the level of quality required by the customer
  • Correctly use APQP forms, including core tools for each phase
