Takt Time
The rate at which product must be turned out to satisfy market demand. It is determined by dividing the available production time by the rate of customer demand.
Test to Failure
Definition Prototype testing until the prototype fails. Examples ALT (accelerated life test), HALT (highly accelerated life test).
TPM
TPM means Total Productive Maintenance: It is a management system which aims at maximizing equipment effectiveness throughout the entire life of the equipment.
Value

Value Stream
All the activities (both value-added and non-value added) required within an organization to deliver a specific service to the customer. It is related to Value term.
